RAHANA- Journalist, Keyvan Mehregan who was arrested on December 28, has been released on $100,000 bail.

According to CHRR, Mehregan worked as the political affairs editor for Etemaad daily which was banned from publication yesterday.

Over the past few days a number of  journalists and civil-political activists including Mashallah Shamsolvaezin, Reza Tajik, Morteza Kazemian and Mohammad Maleki have been released from prison.
