Kaveh Kermanshahi had First Prison Visit

Human rights activist Kaveh Ghasemi Kermanshahi was allowed to visit with his family in prison for the first time today, March 2.

RAHANA- Farangis Davoudi, Kaveh Kermanshahi’s mother, said  the prison visit was granted after her repeated trips to the Intelligence Ministry’s detention center in Kermanshah.

According to the CHRR, Kaveh Kermanshahi was reportedly in good general physical and psychological condition and mentioned that he is allowed  to read books in prison.

During the visit the human rights activist did not about his charges or interrogations.

Kaveh Ghasemi Kermanshahi was arrested in  Kermanshah on February 3 after his house was raided by seven Intelligence agents .

Kaveh Ghasemi Kermanshahi is a journalist, human rights activist and the spokesman for the Kurdistan Human Rights Watch Organization. He is also a member of the One Million Signatures Campaign, a dissolved association called Zhiyar, and a member of the Office for Consolidating Unity- Alumni organization.
