Mehrdad Rahimi is a member of the CHRR and the vice-president of defending the citizens’ rights committee in Mehdi Karroubi’s electoral headquarters during his presidential campaign.

Journalist Ahmad Jalali Farahani was released from Evin prison on Monday evening. He was arrested on February 6, 2010.

Other reports indicate that the release of Mehdi Arabshahi previously announced to take place on Monday has been postponed to Tuesday because of the lengthy process of examining the document submitted as bond.
